The Chosen One Project was founded on the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the obstacles they have faced. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young adults aging out of the foster care system and homeless veterans by connecting them with the resources, guidance, and community support they need to build stable, independent, and fulfilling lives.
We aim to be a trusted hub for outreach, advocacy, and collaboration. By partnering with community organizations, businesses, government agencies, and volunteers, we connect individuals with housing resources, employment opportunities, education, mentorship, life skills training, mental health support, and other essential services. We believe lasting change happens when communities work together so no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

At The Chosen One Project, our mission is to empower young adults aging out of Georgia's foster care system and homeless veterans by connecting them with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to build stable, independent, and successful lives. We are committed to serving as a trusted community hub that provides access to housing resources, employment assistance, educational opportunities, life skills training, mentorship, mental health support, and essential services through strategic partnerships and outreach.

Ashanti Allison – Founder & Executive Director
Ashanti Allison is a retired educator with a lifelong passion for serving others and strengthening communities. Throughout her career in education, she dedicated herself to helping students overcome barriers, achieve academic success, and realize their potential. After witnessing the challenges faced by vulnerable youth and underserved populations, she was inspired to establish The Chosen One Project. Her vision is to create an organization that empowers individuals with the tools, support, and opportunities needed to build brighter futures.
Dorothea Campbell – Co-Director
Dorothea Campbell is a proud veteran whose commitment to service extends beyond her military career. Her firsthand understanding of the unique challenges veterans may face, combined with her passion for helping others, makes her a strong advocate for those experiencing homelessness and hardship. As Co-Director, she is committed to connecting veterans and young adults with meaningful resources, encouragement, and opportunities that promote long-term stability and independence.
